“Where’d You Go, Bernadette?”
I’m currently reading this novel from Maria Semple and I absolutely love it. The story revolves around a formerly-successful architect who moves to Seattle with her husband and completely loses her mind and fails to coexist with overbearing PTA moms. What makes this book so great is that it is humorous fiction told entirely through emails and completely pokes fun at hover moms.
Sex and the City
I know this is a total cliché, but I just started re-watching all the episodes and I’m equally as obsessed with this NYC foursome now as I was years ago. Truth be told, I mostly love it for the fashion moments and I am convinced that Carrie Bradshaw is the only person on the planet who nailed 90’s fashion. I honestly would love to wear most of her outfits now.
Giovanna Battaglia is a contributing editor at W Magazine and the Senior Fashion Editor at Vogue Japan. I am completely obsessed with her and her playful style. Her look is as fun and unique as she is, and her sense of humor radiates through every single Instagram post. She is unapologetically her, which is admirable, especially considering that she works in the fashion industry. I genuinely feel myself get excited when she posts a new outfit.
I have never been a big fan of the color pink but it seems like every shade of this girly hue is having a moment right now, especially in with street style stars like Aya and Amiaya.
Spring/Summer 2018 Chanel
I can’t remember a time I was ever not obsessing over Chanel, but particularly this bag from the Spring-Summer 2018 collection is everything to me. I mean I will let the bag speak for itself.
As the days start to shorten and the temperatures drop, my list of fall must-haves gets longer and longer. It is the perfect time to refresh your beauty routine, wardrobe and home décor.
rag & bone Margot Bootie
I have a slight obsession with booties and have zero self-control when it comes to buying a new pair. This rust color is the perfect accent to my typical all black wardrobe.
Gray Malin Tray
The beach is my happy place, and I love absolutely everything by Gray Malin. Put the two together, and it is a no brainer — I have to have it! This gorgeous tray displayed on my coffee table is the perfect way to escape the cold weather and dream of the beach.
Cuyana Cashmere Scarf
A Cuyana cashmere scarf has been on my list for quite some time. It is a timeless piece that will never go out of style and I know will be a staple in my wardrobe. I think this may be the year I finally move it from my cart to my closet!
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream
My skin gets crazy dry the minute the weather starts to get cold. People swear by this cream, and I am anxious to try it this fall.
What are you wishing for this fall?
I know I’m not the only one excited that summer is on the horizon. To celebrate, I’m adding these key items to my never-ending summer wish list.
Holly and Tanager The Professional
I am constantly on the go during the summer! Having a backpack that fits my needs for the office, gym sessions and weekend trips would be a lifesaver.
Schwinn Allston 1
It’s hard to believe that I have lived in Chicago for over seven years and have never owned a bike! I am thinking it’s time to finally cross this off my list. Biking from place to place is way more efficient than battling public transit for short distances!
Glossier Invisible Shield SPF 35
I am a Huge fan of all Glossier products! When I heard that they came out with a sunscreen that instantly absorbs into the skin with no greasy residue and zero white cast, I instantly knew that I needed it.
Chloe Carlina Sunglasses
Is it even a summer wish list if a pair of sunnies isn’t included? This year I am dying over these retro frames with gradient lenses.
With an upcoming getaway planned and warmer weather on the horizon, I’m hitting *add to cart* on a few new gems.
M. Gemi Flats
I have been lusting over these flats, and they are finally back in stock! I especially love the latte and dusty pink colors.
Mott 50 Cover-Up
I am heading to Scottsdale in a few weeks for a wedding and would love to lounge by the pool in this cover-up. The fabric is SPF 50 which is perfect for my non-sunbathing skin!
Rebecca De Ravenel Earrings
To pair with all the fun ruffled off-the-shoulder tops this spring and summer, these earrings are the perfect jewelry statement!
Blooms by Heinau
Flowers that last longer than a few days? Yes, please! I love fresh flowers in my condo but I must admit I am not the best at keeping them alive. These arrangements would be perfect for me!
Aromatherapy Oil Diffuser
I have been eyeing a diffuser for a few months now. I like the wood detail so that it blends in with the rest of our furniture.
What is on your spring wish list?
I always like to work Flywheel or Dailey Method cycle classes into my week, so keeping my gym bag fully stocked is a necessity. From my go-to sneaks to my favorite fuel, my gym bag essentials are listed below!
Kicks: I live in my Nikes, especially because I walk to work. I recently added the grey Lunarepic Low Flyknit 2 to my sneaker collection and wear them every single day! They’re perfect for throwing on before a class or wearing for weekend errands.
Hydrate: Having a trusty water bottle is a must, and I’m loyal to my S’Well bottle in rose gold. It’s always by my side! It’s ideal for group classes or hydrating throughout the day.
Pullover: I always like to have a pullover in my gym bag to throw on before and after a work-out. I live in this lululemon athletica Define Jacket, which was shockingly gifted to me by brothers (they have better taste in athleisure than I do!).
Snack: I’m a big believer in having a light snack a few hours before a cycle or yoga class and always have raw almonds or these Kashi GoLean bars in my bag for some extra fuel before heading out!
Hold-All Hair Accessories: As an ex-J.Crew employee, I try to support their brand. I was so excited when they partnered with New Balance to launch a line of athletic wear and have been loving the headbands to keep hair in place and add a pattern to an ordinary work-out ensemble.
Bag: This Adidas by Stella McCartney gym bag is the perfect carry-all for a post work class. I love its stylish design and color — it goes with me everywhere!
