Nice to Meet You!

The Skirt team is energetic, innovative and accessible, with varying expertise in national consumer product brands, event production, design and local/regional concentrations. Our contacts are far-reaching and we always utilize co-branding/partnering opportunities to elevate brand exposure. Our team collaborates with you on everything from pitch concepts and creative materials to coordinating special event efforts and media relations.

The Skirt PR Team

Adrienne Eckert Petersen, President

Adrienne Eckert Petersen, president and founder of Skirt PR, has to continually pinch herself to wake up from the dream that is owning her own company. Starting Skirt PR when she was just 25, tells you a little about her determination and drive, but she is also known for her endless creativity. Having the opportunity to work with such talented staff and amazing clients never gets old. When Adrienne isn’t living and breathing all things PR, she loves to travel; Jamaica (during cold Chicago winters), England (whenever time will allow) and anywhere out West for skiing, are just some of the destinations you will find her. If she owned a jet, she wouldn’t hesitate to drop everything at a moment’s notice to eat at her most favorite restaurants, including: Con Gracia in Barcelona, Raoul’s in New York, Chenye Walk Brassiere in London, and Clancy’s in New Orleans. The Purdue alum and Fairfield, CT native finds navy to be classically chic, and wishes we still lived in the world captured by Slim Aaron’s photography.

Lauren Berg, Vice President

Lauren Berg is a pearl and rhinestone-adoring vice president  from St. Paul, MN. She spends her free time brunching with her girlfriends, hunting for vintage fashion or antiques, and perusing the floral section at the farmer’s market. This Northwestern University alum also loves a good a catch-up session with her TiVO (“Modern Family” is a fave). Her go-to pieces? Oliver Peoples Sunglasses, L’Oreal Voluminous mascara, nude patent leather pumps, and (of course), bows.

Katelyn Koepke Lewis, Creative Director

Katelyn Koepke Lewis is the grammar-obsessed creative director of Skirt PR. It’s not a weekend for the Northwestern alum without a raucous meal (or two) with her girlfriends, squeezing in a manicure, and finding a few minutes to indulge in reading her favorite magazine, Marie Claire.  This Dallas-born lady still loves all pop music (teenybopper style), “The Good Wife”, and swears by her #1 beauty item, Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk foundation. When it comes to fashion, Katelyn is a through-and-through denim gal who can’t get enough of structured jackets or stilettos.

Caryn Schoenbeck, Senior Account Executive

Caryn Schoenbeck, senior account executive, may don fake eyelashes and hail from New Jersey, but she’s certainly no Jersey Shore gal (and no, she doesn’t have an accent so fahgeddaboutit). The University of Illinois alum lives and breathes for six-inch heels, Chicago’s music scene, and playing pranks – all while rockin’ skinny jeans, ankle booties and braids (she’s even trying her hand at sewing and makes some of her own pieces). With her iPod in tow, she can be found indulging in Bon Iver, all things reality TV (don’t judge) and blogs of the dating variety.

Katie Bina, Account Executive

Katie Bina is an Indianapolis-raised account executive who lives for leopard print and OPI nail polish in Coney Island Cotton Candy. The Indiana University alum loves to shop, go out to eat and spends most of her spare time looking for her misplaced keys or cell phone. She can’t live without wi-fi, her laptop, Bravo! (shout-out to Top Chef and Real Housewives), The Office and Modern Family. Though she considers a Blackberry and coffee to be her must-have accessories, a classic black headband isn’t far behind.

Whitney Read, Assistant Account Executive

Whitney Read, assistant account executive, is a marketing grad and self-proclaimed foodie. When this tall blonde isn’t admiring her massive sweater and boot wardrobe (it’s a little out of control), she can be found studying to get her pilot’s license and using her Gilt app to load up on fashion while sitting in traffic, waiting in line at Starbucks or walking to the El (you get the point). She LOVES country music and was probably meant to live in the South—too bad she’s probably never leaving her hometown of the Windy City.

Shannon Race, Assistant Account Executive

Shannon Race is an art history guru turned assistant account executive with a flair for the finer things—and a shopping habit to prove it.  Hailing from the Hawkeye state, she made her journey to Chicago where she completed her Master’s in Arts Journalism and then promptly fell into the fast-paced PR world.  When she’s not listening to Soundcloud and piecing together some seriously darling graphic designs, she can be found restaurant hopping in black waxed denim and stilettos, cell phone in hand.  She lives for a good cat eye, pistachio gelato, and the powdery slopes of the Colorado Rockies.

Dana Farber, Social Media Maven

Dana Farber is a maven about social media and, oh, so much more. Born-and-raised in Chicago, she loves staying up on the latest movies, music, TV shows and restaurants and may or may not obsessively stalk Yelp reviews. This Northwestern alum is proud of her mainly vintage wardrobe (and record collection) and she hopes to someday write the next great American novel – or at least the next Gossip Girl. Give her a dirty gin martini or a scoop of Rocky Road (not together – that would be gross) and she’s a happy girl.

Casey Gamber, Social Media Assistant

Hailing from the Chicago ‘burbs, Casey Gamber is an intern turned social media assistant with an affinity for hashtags and @kellyoxford. When she’s not planning her wedding to Bradley Cooper, you can find Casey defining the term ‘shopaholic’ at Old Orchard, catching up on Homeland, or devouring her favorite magazines – InStyle and Vanity Fair. A bona fide nail polish junkie, this Essie-devotee hasn’t gone without a manicure since ’07. Somebody once told the Xavier University alum that she and Jennifer Lawrence “could be the same person.” Casey hasn’t been the same since.

Christine Bosnjak, Executive Office Director

Christine Bosnjak is the Britney-loving executive office director who spends her free time diving into a good issue of Marie Claire, traveling to Toronto, and just hangin’ out with friends and family. She’s a regular on celebrity news and fashion blogs who swears by her iPhone, Veronica Mars, the Shu Uemura eyelash curler and L’Oreal Voluminous mascara. For style with staying power, this DePaul alum depends on her dark blue and black skinny jeans; for trendy pieces worth stock-piling, she can’t imagine anything greater than Top Shop.
