As a self-described nail polish addict, I’m a sucker for a great nail blog (Nailed It and FYeahNailArt are a couple favorites). Few things can turn my day around like a great manicure and pedicure, and while I’m certainly guilty of getting stuck in a color rut—and wearing OPI’s “Miami Beet” on repeat—I love discovering the more creative, daring nail art people are wearing these days.
A few of my personal spring faves from around the web:
An update on the classic French tip. I love this animal print version that is playful and fun! (photo via)
The reverse French manicure is subtle, but still edgy with a pop of luxury! (photo via)
From checkers to chevron, I love adore patterned nails. Best of all, a lot of them are easy to do yourself, too! (photo via)
Jessica Biel sported this caviar look at a red carpet premiere last fall, and I still can’t get over it – the perfect way to dress up your nails for a special occasion! (photo via)
When it comes to prettying yourself with a little polish, are you more daring with your digits, or do you like to keep it beautiful and basic?
