There’s nothing worse than trying to maneuver your locks into a cool-looking updo while at work! Jennifer Villacis from Chicago’s Sine Qua Non Salon shows us in our second video tutorial how to create an easy, vintage-y office-to-party look that can be achieved in seconds using any old hair, no pins and no product- all you need is an elastic headband or two!

Step One: Begin with curly or wavy hair with volume at the crown.

Step Two: Place an elastic band (or two) around the head to build volume at the crown.

Step Three: Smooth the crown.

Step Four: Decorative is always more fun! Add a fun headband, if you like.

Step Five: Take small sections of hair and simply pull backwards and tuck into the headband. You should begin on both sides in the front, and end at the nape of the neck.

Step Six: Add finesse! Pull out tendrils and spray with hairspray to finish.
