It’s no secret that Shoshanna stole season five of Girls with her Japanese style. Off screen Zosia Mamet is killing it too. What do I love most? Zosia is not afraid to take risks with her style and beauty choices. Below are a few of my favorites.
Right now, I am totally crushing over her dark brows and light hair! I for sure have brow envy. Plus, she looks great in this blouse and shorts combo at the Jill Stuart NYFW spring 2016 show.
At the Golden Globes 2015 she sported slightly grey hair that paired well with the pale color blocked gown by Andrew Gn.
I love this bold print dress that Zosia wore to the Sisters movie premiere last year.
A cool boho dress with embroidered designs pairs well with the slicked back ponytail and winged eyeliner.
Who is your style crush?
Rooney Mara has one of the most unique and impeccable tastes in fashion. Her defining traits of vampy lips and gothic style has me swooning. She consistently looks polished with slicked back hair styles and razor sharp cheek bones. And, I can’t forget to mention that Rooney ALWAYS kills it on the red carpet.
One of my all-time favorite red carpet looks by Rooney is this Givenchy number. The long, sheer, sultry dress with a thigh-high split is a stunning combination.
Again, you can never go wrong with sheer and lace. This time, she chose a sexy-sweet LBD with lace panels and a satin hem.
Can’t forget this classic look Rooney debuted at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund red carpet. The light nude dress and blunt black bangs paired with deep purple lipstick is very modern and gothic glam!
This off-duty look looks fab and comfortable. I need those pants!
Another chic street look! Rocking a lace dress over a white shirt paired with bare legs and ankle boots. I am a sucker for dresses and booties!
As much as I could continue to write this blog post series on Olivia Palermo, I will take pause to pay homage to a much younger celebutante whose style I’ve been eyeing: Gigi Hadid. Sure, she has perfect hair, a perfect pout, a perfect just about everything, but I hadn’t begun to notice her apparel choices until recently. I’m digging it!
I’m in love with turtlenecks (especially cable) and over-the-knee boots. Match made in heaven.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist another sweater-over-the-knee-boot combo. See above.
Anyone who can make airport style look like a cinch is a goddess in my book. Love the simplistic pairing here – of course black is the chicest to wear 30,000 feet in the air!
This sleek yellow Victoria Beckham dress has me longing for spring temps!
Monochromatic looks are another penchant of mine. I love how attainable this outfit is –and the embellished jacket is the perfect finishing touch.
Who do you have your style eye on?
If you haven’t heard of Helena Bordon, get ready to fall into the rabbit hole of this Brazilian beauty’s amazing style archive. From interesting textiles to mixing prints, Helena manages to put together outfits I can’t help but want to copy. Let’s take a peek, shall we?
While this outfit is definitely one of Helena’s most simple looks to date, the intriguing textural pattern of the dress and emerald cross-body bag are a total A+ in my book.
I *live* for a cheeky garment and this “Love Me Tender” sweatshirt is no exception. I love how Helena dressed it up with a bright pencil skirt and statement necklace.
Floor. Length. Vest. You guys! This has “street style star” written all over it.
A sophisticated look I would totally wear to the office. The unexpected color combination of blue and burnt orange is fabulous!
I’m basically obsessed with this ‘90s-esque t-shirt sweater. Plus, I’m a total sucker for pairing simple garments with bold accessories.
From head to toe, this outfit is #goals.
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski has a simple-chic style that I cannot help but to be inspired by – there’s just something so accessible about her outfit choices. Her ability to look effortlessly cool both on the red carpet and off is something we can all learn from. Here are a few looks that have inspired me to up my street style game.
Simple mini dress + over-the-knee boots + rounded glasses = effortlessly cool. Needless to say, OTK boots are now one of my wardrobe staples.
This is a look we can ALL rock. The streamlined trousers with a turtleneck sweater says refined, but the addition of that killer pair of lace-up pumps and the suede leather jacket carelessly thrown over her shoulders says edgy.
Simplicity at its finest. You can’t go wrong with a black midi skirt and matching black crop top. The velvet material of the skirt adds just the right amount of trendiness while keeping it basic.
When in doubt, throw on a sexy-sweet dress from LA brand Reformation.
Never met a leather dress I didn’t like! The chocolate-brown leather paired with the nude pumps is an unexpectedly cool color combination of neutrals.
